MentorKids has a solid governing board of directors that seek to support and guide the overall ministry of Christian mentoring. The directors cast vision, set policies, and evaluate both Executive Director and the overall outcomes of ministry. They are heavily involved with fundraising, networking, and advocating for the needs and value of youth from single parent households.

Why Do We Serve?
“I served on the board of MentorKids Kentucky as well as mentored a young man because Christians are called to bring the Light of Christ into dark places. In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s a dark and scary world out there and homes without a father present know that more than most. It was not only my desire to be that light for my mentee, but to help lead a ministry that will replicate relationships like ours effectively and efficiently. MentorKids is that ministry.”
– Caleb Potter
